If you want to live a soul-inspired life, then you’ll want to give up:
1. How you think things “should” be, or what success “should” look like.
We are surrounded by inherited ideas about what success is, or who we should be Yet, “shoulds” are almost always someone else’s perspective, or they are a personal standard that we think should apply to everyone.
And often, “shoulds” don’t reflect what you actually want to do.
Giving up “shoulds” — gives you back the power to choose from pure desire, rather than choosing from external paradigms, or projecting your perspectives onto others.
This matters because what we think is possible, and much of the world’s suffering is created by these unexamined assumptions.
Your soul knows that what you really want and the ways it can be delivered are infinite. Your soul also knows that we all get to choose how we experience life — as sovereign individuals.
So, to be soul-inspired means that you’re choosing from what you genuinely want, and letting the broader field of potential do her magic. No “have-tos” or “shoulds” are required. And you’re recognizing other peoples’s right to do the same.
“Shoulds” also limit how things can manifest. If we think a desired outcome should arrive in a certain way, then it can only come that way. We make that true for ourselves, even though there are infinite ways in which the desired good can come.
When “shoulds” dissolve you can be delighted by something even better than what you can conceive possible. And the wonder that happens when you remain open to “this or something better” is part of the magic most people are seeking. So, have fun with this!
